Hi gents,
A quick lunch debrief.
Another upbeat, entertaining Affogato lunch at the Chop House! Thanks MW for steering the ship as MC. Thank you to our guest speaker Craig Wing, great learning about the journey he has been on and how he has struggled over the years to pull a Sheela! I believe our second speaker, Chris Anderson is still in the airport transit lounge in Brisbane!
To our business card chilli port two time winner Warren Carr, things went a little south for Warren accepting to play golf the next morning after a few beverages. Warren was unfortunately hit by a golf ball but thanks to our good friend Garlo, who was on the scene and managed to get him to hospital but the outcome wasn’t great with multiple fractures (Refer to the attached photo). I have spoken to Warren, he is on the mend and in good spirits. On behalf of all of us, hope for a speedy recovery! Is there any reason why you were standing in ‘silly mid-off’ on the tee off?!
Thank you to Darren Harvey for his donation to The Men of League to help raise money for Billy Noonan who has fallen on tough times.
There is a Save our Sons Comedy night on this Sunday evening, I have attached the brochure. Rogan has generously purchased a table for this event however is OS at the moment and cannot attend.
